We have a full range of appointment times available from Monday to Friday from 08:30 until 12:00 and from 14:30 until 18:00, bookable in advance. Times and doctors vary from day to day, please telephone reception for more details.

If you struggle to use the stairs, please inform the receptionist when booking your appointment and arrangements will be made to see you in a downstairs consulting room.

 From February 2026 the working days of our GP's are as follows:

• Dr Bailey - Friday skin clinic                       Upstairs consulting room
• Dr Blunt - Monday, Wednesday     Upstairs consulting room
• Dr John Jitan- Tuesday and Thursday        Upstairs consulting room
• Dr Rachael McGowan - Thursday and Friday (Currently on maternity leave, returning September 2026)
• Dr Rachel Henderson - Tuesday, Wednesday                                                  Upstairs consulting room

We are glad to answer queries over the phone if a visit to the surgery is not indicated. If you wish to speak to the doctor personally, please ring and leave your details and a doctor will ring you back.

Buses stop at Kings Road junction.

Access and parking is available at the front and rear of the building, although limited. 

Please keep the front entrance clear for disabled drivers   and emergency vehicles. 

Wheelchair access is available at the front and throughout the ground floor.  If you need any assistance regarding your visit to the surgery please let reception know

If possible please try to telephone reception before 10:00 if you require a home visit.

A doctor or nurse may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice, or that it would be more appropriate to send a nurse, or indeed arrange a hospital attendance.

House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the surgery.

It is important that you inform the reception staff if you are unable to attend your appointment, this will allow that appointment to be offered to another patient.

We have a texting service which allows you to receive confirmation and reminders about your appointments.

To have this service you will need to register by completing a consent form.

Please remember to update your contact details with us when you change address, telephone numbers and email address.

Please attend your appointment on time, if you are late you may not be seen. If you are not seen you will be able to rearrange your appointment, however, you will have to wait for the next available appointment unless it is a medical emergency.

If you require an interpreter to attend with you when you see your Doctor please notify the receptionist and she will arrange this for you.
